Long Description:

A truly stunning vintage Longines wrist-watch is a large stainless steel case, using the legendary 30L manual wind movement.
This watch has been painstakingly restored to original condition. The dial was restored by a European craftsman that is used by some manufacturers for their historical restorations. The satin colored dial features engraved hour markers with a large legible sub-seconds chapter.
The case, reference number 8888-28 has been detailed and sparkles in the light of day. A colleague who saw this watch commented that the watch exudes all of the charm that a vintage watch imparts to its owner and adds the extra currency of an incredibly well built movement, the kind of quality found in the top watch houses of the period.
Please note the size of the extra large balance wheel and be aware of the very strong mainspring that comes standard with this watch, the amplitude is much higher than most top brands of the period. The serial number of the watch movement dates this particular watch to 1962.
Overall an incredible value for the quality at this price point.
The watch measures 35 mm wide by 42 mm long and is supplied on a new black padded leather strap.
