An unusual vintage Rolex which dates to the 1940’s. This Oyster case features a solid stainless steel case with a gold plated bezel.

 

The Oyster case carries a reference number of 3121 and is fitted with a 17 jewel Rolex 10 ½ Hunter Superbalance movement. The movement was just serviced and is running well and keeping time. These older sub-seconds movements have become quite popular with collectors and casual buyers alike.

 

The dial has been re-finished in the very popular mixed Roman and Arabic numeral style, known as the California dial pattern.
 
The watch is the typical Boy-Sized variety of older Oyster cases produced during the 1940’s and really is suited for medium sized wrists or for someone looking for a more subtle look on their wrist. The case measures 29 mm wide (excluding crown) by 36 mm long and can be supplied on a black or brown leather strap.
