This vintage Tudor Oyster-Date has an exceptional dial and rare “roulette wheel” date disc that alternates between red and black days.
 
The all original dial features a very fine honeycomb pattern with small arrowhead markers at most hours positions except for the date position at 3 o’clock and the Arabic numerals at the 12, 9 and 6 o’clock positions, in the same style as the Tudor Ranger or its famous cousin the Rolex Explorer. The watch is still fitted with the original steel dauphine hands which are so sought after by collectors.
 
The case, reference number 7919 has been detailed and is in very good condition.
 
The watch is fitted with a manual wind Tudor 17 jewel movement with non quickset date. The watch was just serviced and is keeping great time.
 
 The style and components used in the watch appear to date it to the period of 1955-1960.

The watch measures 34 mm wide by 41 mm long and is supplied on a new black or brown padded leather strap.
