Long Description:

This vintage Omega manual wind watch dates to 1948 and uses one of the classic and highly sought after Omega movements developed from the 30T2 mm movements used by the Allied forces during World War 2.

The dial is marker with the Omega symbol and has the printing "Fab Suisse" underneath. The dial patina and script suggest that the dial is original however the lack of a ring around the sub seconds chapter leads me to believe that this is an early restored dial.

The movement fitted in the watch is the gilded calibre 265 movement which dates to 1948. The watch was just serviced and is keeping time.

A vintage Omega signed crown is fitted to the watch and the stainless steel case carries a reference number 2540-4.

The watch measures 33 mm wide by 41 mm long and will be supplied on a brand new black or brown leather strap.
