A rare vintage Automatic Longines model from the 1950's. This model features an original black glossy dial with steel arrowhead markers and pointed dauphine hands.

The heavy stainless steel case is in excellent condition and the has a thick stainless steel screw back. The back of the watch has the word Longines embossed in it. Also note the model number of the watch, reference 2081, is stamped inside the case back as well as the back side of one of the lugs. This can also be seen on wartime manual wind models.

The Longines automatic movement, calibre 19AS, was just serviced and keeps excellent time. This is a larger sized casual dress watch with beefy lugs, from one of the market leaders of the period that this watch was made. Longines was one of the most respected horological brands during the 1950's and the quality of this watch reflects that reputation.

The watch measures 36mm wide by 43mm long and is supplied on your choice of black or brown leather straps.
