Short Description:
Classic vintage Omega watch with bumper automatic movement and luminous arabic numeral dial.

Long Description:

This early Omega bumper automatic watch features lugs that are far more stylized than the later models.

The solid steel case, reference 2582-2, has a nice wide steel bezel and a heavy steel screw back.

The all-original dial is a stunning 2 tone design that uses luminous Arabic numerals as hour markers.

The original hand set includes a pair of thin luminous stick hands with pointer tips and a fabulous red pointer seconds hand.

The 17 jewel Omega caliber 351 bumper automatic movement was just serviced by my watchmaker and is keeping excellent time. The movement serial number of 13,1xx,xxx dates the watch to 1950. Another oddity is that the movement is adjusted to 5 positions and temperatures just as any Chronometer would be.

The watch measures 33.5mm wide by 41mm long and is supplied on your choice of black or brown leather strap.
