The Rolex GMT was perhaps one of the most under valued Sports models on the market for so long. However, market prices have been climbing lately driven by collectors looking for original examples.

This model is in excellent original condition with the original Tritium dial and hand set still fitted. The crown and tube were changed at the last factory service in October 2002. A copy of the service order is enclosed with the watch providing confirmation of authenticity.

The serial number in the 3.3 million range suggests a production date of 1971-72 and the date code on the inside of the caseback confirms the production to 1972.    

The Rolex calibre 1570 movement was recently serviced by my Rolex trained watchmaker and is keeping Chronometer grade time. 

The original Rolex Oyster bracelet, reference 7835 is still fitted to the case.

Overall this is as clean an example of a vintage Rolex GMT 1675 that you are likely to find in the marketplace today.

The case measures 40 mm wide by 48 mm long and the watch will be supplied in the Rolex Service box it has been stored in since 2002.
