Long Description:

This vintage Rolex Oyster qualifies as a true antique model given the fact that it dates to 1933 based on the serial number stamped into the caseback.
This model is perhaps the rarest of Bubbleback Oyster cases as it  features a 3 piece case with a solid gold bezel and the words Rolesor stamped into the caseback, which is the Rolex trademark for their bi-metal cases. Furthermore, fitted in the watch is the most advanced movement used by Rolex during the period, an 18 jewel Chronometer movement adjusted to 6 positions and temperature.
The all original dial features a black background with luminous numbers and a brilliant 24 hour gold text inner chapter. The outer seconds chapter ring surrounds a separate and equally delicate minute chapter. Overall the dial appears similar to the highly sought after Scientific dials of the 30's and 40's. The curved "Rolex Oyster" text sits under a faded Rolex coronet and frames the word Chronometer below it.
The case is in very clean condition with some spot pitting on the caseback. The watch was just serviced by my Rolex trained watchmaker and is keeping great time.
Overall this is a very significant vintage Rolex for a serious collector.
The watch measures 31.5 mm wide by  38 mm long.
