Vintage Rolex Air-King watches are becoming harder to find.

This all-original vintage Rolex Air-King carries a case reference 5500 and features a super clean smooth steel bezel with a mint condition silver dial with steel stick hour markers that appear to have Onyx inlay strips.

The serial number of the case suggests the watch dates to 1972. The Rolex Perpetual automatic caliber 1520 movement was just been serviced by my Rolex trained watchmaker and is functioning perfectly and keeping excellent time.

Overall this is as clean an example of a vintage Air-King that you are likely to find in the marketplace today.

This Rolex Oyster watch measures 34.5 mm wide (excluding crown) by 41 mm long. The watch is supplied on a new leather strap, however a steel Oyster bracelet can be supplied with the watch for an additional cost.
