A solid Omega Seamaster watch from 1955, using the Omega calibre 420 movement. Reference 2759 and 2761 both stamped inside the case back.

Long Description:
A great example of a stylish and durable Omega Seamaster wrist-watch.

This classic vintage watch features the highly sought after chunky stainless steel case introduced in the 1950's. The Omega collectors have referred to this design as having beefy lugs. The case carries 2 reference numbers, 2759 and 2761, common depending on whether it was fitting with a sweep or sub-seconds movement.

The dial is a professionally restored Omega Seamaster dial with the original "soliel" or sunburst finish done in a silver colour. Please note the original Omega steel dauphine hands and signed crown.

The 17 jewel Omega calibre 420 manual wind movement was just serviced by my watchmaker and is functioning flawlessly.

The watch measures 34.5 mm wide excluding the crown an 42 mm long.
