Vintage Omega manual wind watch

A clean vintage Omega watch that has some of the model desirable features that Omega collectors seek out.

The most noticeable feature of the watch is the dial with raised steel Arrowhead hour markers with the raised steel Omega logo and text. Instead of the fat dauphine hands typically seen, this model uses a more subtle but interesting lance shaped design, which doesn't overpower the effect of the Arrowhead hour markers. The dial appears restored however not by me. It has no printed text on it and is in very clean condition.

The solid stainless steel case has the traditional fat lugs that collectors love as well as a very unusual flat topped stepped bezel. The snap on caseback carried a case reference of 2903-1.

The 17 jewel shock-resisting manual wind Omega movement is a calibre 268, which is part of the venerable family of 30mm movements based on the famed 30T2 used during World War 2. This movement was just serviced and timed out, so is running as it should.

The serial number of the movement dates the watch to 1960.

The watch measures 34 mm wide by 42 mm long and will be supplied on your choice of black or brown leather straps.

Price: USD$715.00
