Vintage Omega large manual wind watch circa 1955 with angled lugs

This vintage Omega watch, features one of the finest manual wind movements made by Omega.

The watch is fitted with the 17 jewel Omega calibre 283 movement and dates to 1955 based on the serial number.

The restored dial has a black background with gold toned hands and gold bullet shaped markers with the popular Explorer type 3, 6, 9 and 12 Arabic numerals at the quadrant positions.

The solid stainless steel case features thick elongated lugs that curve away from the case, almost as if they were scalloped. The steel case carries a reference number of 2810-2 SC. The correct vintage Omega crown is still fitted to the watch.

The watch was recently serviced by my watchmaker and is keeping excellent time.

The case measures 35 mm wide by 44 mm long and will be supplied on a black or brown leather strap.
