Vintage Cartier Tank, with manual wind movement

A Cartier gold plated solid silver Tank watch dating to the 1970's.

I remember these watches were a personal favorite of a relative of mine and he had just about every version that Cartier made, even the wood cased and wood dialed models.

The watch features a gold plated case, signed Cartier and stamped .925 Argent and 20M plaque D'Or, confirming that the case is solid silver with a 20 micron plating of gold. The caseback is also fully signed with the correct hallmarks and serial number..

The all original cream coloured dial is in mint condition. I have taken as many angles of the watch as I can to show the condition of this beautiful watch.

The 17 jewel Cartier signed movement was recently serviced by my watchmaker and is keeping excellent time. The trademark Blue Sapphire or Cabochon crown is still fitted to the watch.

The case of this fine Cartier measures 23.5mm wide by 31mm long and is supplied on a high grade black lizard strap with the correct genuine Cartier buckle.
