This large shiny Longines HydroConquest is in excellent condition. It was bought as a gift last December and traded into us in April. The watch was too large for the owner.
The Longines HydroConquest features a solid steel case with prominent protective crown guards surrounding the Longines signed screw-down crown. The watch also features a large steel machined rotating divers bezel which makes the watch resemble the Rolex Yachtmaster.
The large silver dial uses the iconic “Explorer” pattern of 3, 6, 9 and 12 to mark the quadrants points on the dial. In this case the 3 o’clock marker is replaced by a date window. The dial sits behind a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that looks quite clean as it was designed without the date magnification bubble. The dial is marked Longines, Automatic and 300 metres/1000 feet to illustrate its water resistance.
The back of the watch is marked Longines HydroConquest around a prominently embossed Longines Eagle logo. The case measures 41 mm across excluding the crown and large crown-guards.
The watch is fitted with a Longines signed calibre L633 self-winding movement. This movement is designed to provide approximately 38 hours of power reserve.
This ultra clean used watch comes with the original box, instruction booklet and warranty card. This represents a great opportunity to acquire this lightly used watch for half its retail cost when new. The watch comes with the original full length bracelet. The heavy divers bracelet features an original Longines divers clasp engraved with the depth rating of the watch.
This model has been discontinued and has been replaced with more colorful models. I find them a bit too gaudy but you judge for yourself. Longines HydroConquest
