One of the classic vintage chronograph watches that dates back to the 1930’s.
The watch has an impressive look on the wrist due to the large white dial and oversized steel case. The fact there is no cumbersome rotating bezel around the face of the watch, gives the dial more prominence.
The watch is fitted with what appears to be an older Landeron 17 jewel manual wind movement, that was just serviced by my watchmaker. The dial of the watch appears to have been restored.
The watch is fitted with the classic flat pushers that date to the 1940’s and earlier. Another interesting styling feature of the watch are the hands. The hour hands is a railway style spade hand. This configuration of hands are typically found on pocket watches from the period.
The watch measures 38 mm wide by 47 mm long and is currently supplied on a black leather strap.
