This Audemars Piguet solid gold watch appears to date to the 1940’s. It uses a high grade Audemars Piguet signed 18 jewel movement with the rare sub-seconds dial.
The watch is crafted in solid 18 karat yellow gold. The rectangular case bears a striking resemblance to the famed Cartier Tank watches.
The dial was restored by a European craftsman who returned it to its original appearance after the original finish tarnished with patina and aging. There is one small spot at the 10 o’clock marker that is not visible in the photos and is only visible at certain angles.
The movement was just serviced by my watchmaker and is keeping superb time.
This is a timepiece sure to last for generations to come and represents one of the finest watchmaking houses in business today.
The gold case measures 24 mm wide excluding the crown by 32 mm long and is supplied on a brand new black croco-grain leather strap.
