This is a mint condition used TAG Heuer automatic Chronograph, chronometer rated watch.
The watch was lightly used and has few visible marks and still has the original caseback plastic cover on it. The watch is fitted with a Heuer modified automatic Valjoux 7750 movement. Part of the modification involves adding refinements that resulted in the movement accuracy being tested and passing the Chronometer certification.
The white dial with tritium luminousis is in mint condition with steel Arabic numerals at the hour markers. A non magnified date window sits at the 6 o’clock position on the dial.

The steel bracelet on the watch was lightly brushed to remove some desk swirls on the buckle. The bracelet is currently sized to fit an 8 inch wrist and comes with an extra link.
I recall when this watch was introduced there were photos of the 18K gold version being worn by the Sultan of Brunei, considered the worlds richest man at the time. My local retailer lamented the fact the watch in gold weighed almost half a pound!
