This vintage IWC wrist-watch boasts one of the most attractive cases I have seen on a stainless steel IWC. The watch is also fitted with an IWC calibre 89 manual wind movement.
The IWC caliber 89 has been written up by many watch collectors and watchmakers as the pinnacle of movement design and durability. This movement is the same one used in the ultra collectible IWC mark 11 Royal Airforce issued watches.
The all-original dial has some minor speckling on the factory original paint but it still has a very attractive appearance.
The case features a thin flat bezel and highly stylish and elegant bombe curved lugs.
The watch was just serviced by my watchmaker and it is running well and keeping great time.
The stainless steel watch case measures 35 mm wide by 42 mm long and is supplied with a padded leather band.
