Rolex Air-King-Date with gold bezel and blue dial
It is not common to find vintage Rolex watches with blue dials. Usually Rolex used black, silver or white dials for their watches.
This stellar example of a 2 tone Oyster features a solid gold fluted bezel ringing the steel blue dial with gold stick markers. The watch is also fitted with the original steel Oyster bracelet with a 1972 date code.
The Rolex perpetual automatic movement, calibre 1520 movement fitted in the watch, was just serviced by my Rolex trained watchmaker and is keeping excellent time.
Although I do not guarantee waterproofing, the watch has had all its seals replaced as well as a new factory crystal. It has tested waterproof.
The case measures 34 mm wide and 42 mm long.
